Consequences
The consequences of problem gambling are far reaching. Not only does problem gambling result in financial problems due to chasing losses and spending more than available. Individual can loss their self respect, an increase in illness and medical conditions due to stress and a decrease in tolerance to other people.
What can Gambler’s Help do for me?
Gambler’s Help at Latrobe Community Health Service offer confidential, professional support to gamblers, their family and others affected by gambling. Counselling, both financial and general, community education and professional development are also available.
Resources and information is also available, such as self help guides, information sessions, posters and advise on gambling and gaming issues.
What does it cost?
There is no cost for this service. However, to be eligible you must live in the Gippsland region.

You can access this program by coming into any of Latrobe Community Health Service’s sites or by calling 1800 242 696. After hours appointments can be arranged if necessary.
The Gambler’s Help program can be accessed from any of Latrobe Community Health Service’s sites across the Gippsland region.
