Minister to Visit LCHS Morwell site

The Hon. Daniel Andrews, Minister for Health will launch the commissioning stage of construction at the new Morwell building on Friday, 12 March 2010.

The new building features a wide range of construction and energy saving initiatives, using recycled materials, rainwater storage, energy saving lighting, heating and ventilation systems.

The building program is on schedule, at this stage LCHS are due to take occupancy early May. Completion of Stage two, the demolition of the existing building and car park development are due for completion in August.
