Podiatry includes the assessment,diagnosis,treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions affecting the foot and lower limbs.

Podiatry can provide the following:

* Diabetic assessment and education, as related to the foot.

*Assessment and management of diabetic wounds.

*Assessment and management of vascular wounds.

*Assessment and management of corns (heloma durum, heloma molle)

*Assessment and managment of callous (hyperkeratosis)

*Assessment and managment of thickened nails (onychogryphois)

*Assessment and managment of fungal nails (onchyomycosis)

*Assessment and managment of warts (verrucae pedis)

*Assessment and managment of biomechanics and gait issues related to ambulation and falls prevention.

*Orthotic manufacture and footwear modifications

$12.00 per visit at time of consultation.  (HACC & Pensioners)
