Respiratory exercise groups are run weekly, in Traralgon, Morwell and Moe for people who have breathing problems and who wish to maintain their general fitness and improve their ability to undertake everyday tasks. Exercise is a proven management strategy to improve the quality of life for people with a chronic respiratory condition. The exercises are done within the limitations of their condition and they are encouraged to rest as needed. The people who have completed a Pulmonary Rehab program and who wish to continue to exercise in a group setting are welcome. People who have home oxygen are also welcome. The group is supervised by the LCHS Community Health Nurse
• People with a chronic respiratory condition. Eg COPD, Chronic Asthma, Bronchiectasis, Pulmonary Fibrosis • Partners and Family members are welcome.
$2.00 for Traralgon and Moe group
• Traralgon: Monday 10:30 – 12:00 • Morwell: Wednesday from 10:30 - 12:00 at Morwell East Senior Citizens Centre, 127 Vary Street, Morwell • Moe: Thursday from 11:00 – 12:30
