Membership
Being a Company Member of Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS) not only gives you the opportunity to have a voice and influence decision making within the organisation, it could also give you the opportunity to:
- be seen by the public as a supporter of LCHS
- contribute to community change
- subscribe to LCHS Annual Report, Quality of Care Report and other relevant publications
- receive personal invitations to LCHS functions and community events
- vote in Board elections.
As a Company Member you will receive occasional communication from LCHS, particularly regarding the Annual General Meeting and other important information.
Persons are eligible to be admitted to Company Membership of LCHS if they:
- have attained the age of 18 years
- are a client, or they live, work or are enrolled as a student at an educational service in LCHS’s catchment area
- have a previous connection with LCHS which the Board considered sufficient for its purposes
- become a Board Director of the company.
An employee of LCHS cannot become a Company Member.
The Membership register opens the day after the Annual General Meeting until 30 June of any year.
Applications for Company Membership of LCHS must be lodged with LCHS’s Chief Executive Officer, 81 - 87 Buckley Street (PO Box 960) Morwell 3840.
Being a Company member of LCHS would be a great opportunity for anyone wanting to be involved with a Community Health Centre and really make a difference.
