Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS) was established in February 1995 and is now a major primary health care provider in the Latrobe Valley and Gippsland.

LCHS is registered under the Corporations Act 2001 as a Company Limited by Guarantee and is governed by a Board.

LCHS aims to reduce disease and illness through prevention, health promotion and social, physical and cultural change.

An integrated and co-ordinated approach to the delivery of services is employed in community settings at local, sub regional and regional levels. This is achieved through inter-sectoral and inter-agency partnerships.
