Children & Families

Raising kids and maintaining a safe, loving family is a never-ending challenge. Latrobe Community Health Service offers a range of programs to help children and families at every life stage.

Services for young people

Through headspace Morwell, we provide health care and support services to young people aged between 12 and 25 years.

We can help answer questions or concerns about your mental health, drug and alcohol issues, general health, relationships, or about your sexuality.

We have a doctor available, and a Centrelink worker who can answer questions you might have. We can also help your friends and other people who support you.

Children’s service

A team of allied health professionals can provide you with help if you have a child under seven who is experiencing mild to moderate difficulties with aspects of their development.

Kids Connect

Kids Connect is an early intervention program that provides support to children and young people aged from 0 – 18 and their families who are at risk of negative mental health outcomes.

Family violence counselling

We also offer family violence counselling, both to women and children who have been in, or are in abusive relationships, and to men who use violent behaviour.
