Considering a future in the Health Sector either clinical or administrative? Are you currently in secondary school, Tafe or University? Then a placement with LCHS is where you can start.

Undertaking a student placement with LCHS will not only give you work experience, but will integrate theory and practice learnt in the classroom into an authentic work environment. LCHS recognises the need for students to gain work experience related to their chosen profession and have demonstrated a commitment to support student placements across a variety of programs within the organisation. These include Ambulatory Care (District Nursing, Palliative Care and Moe After Hours Medical Service), Primary Health (Allied Health and Stay Healthy Latrobe, Dental, Consumer Services, Health Promotion and Education), Co-ordinated Care (Carer Services, Aged & Veterans and Case Management), Community Support (Drug Treatment, Counselling and Respite) and Corporate (Finance, ICT, Quality, Safety and Human Resources).

LCHS has a long and successful history of providing high quality community based services to improve and support the health and wellbeing of the Gippsland community. By undertaking a student placement, you can be part of this exciting and dynamic team through the many programs available right across Gippsland. LCHS has sites at Bairnsdale, Churchill, Traralgon, Korumburra, Moe, Morwell, Sale and Warragul.
